As part of a new marketing strategy, Virgin Atlantic has launched its Flying Without Fear course as an app for iPhone and iPod touch from the App Store.
According to Ben Trewhella, CTO at Mubaloo, a developer of mobile applications, Virgin is targetting the vast audiences looking for services in their pocket.
"Companies that aren't preparing for this shift are going to be at a considerable disadvantage It's a direct line to the customer through the one thing they carry at all times, everywhere they go."
